How do you make a magnetic ice skater?
- Draw your figure on card, front and back, and cut it out leaving a tab at the bottom, as in the drawing.
- Glue the tab around a piece of cork.
- Push a drawing pin into the cork from below.
- For the rink we used a cheese box: we painted the base and decorated the rim with washi tape.
Move a magnet underneath and the figure spins. If it falls over, use a stronger magnet.
