- Split a walnut into two halves.
- Make a hole in the top.
- Model a tiny house from air-dry clay, small enough to fit inside the nut.
- Paint the inside of the walnut half blue.
- Thread a string through the hole and knot it on the inside.
- Decorate the string with beads.
- Glue the house, and perhaps a little star, inside the nut.
